How It Works

Song requests without shouting across the room

Your audience sees the songs your band actually plays and sends requests directly to your live dashboard.

1

Share one QR code

Put your SongOnCue QR code on tables, signs, business cards, social posts, or near the stage.

2

Guests choose what they want

They can request a song or tip the band from their phone without downloading an app.

3

Your band manages it live

Requests appear on the band dashboard so members can accept, decline, manage, and clear songs during the performance.

Built Around Live Music

Choose how requests work for each performance

SongOnCue can be as simple as a free digital request list or become an additional revenue tool for the band.

QR Song Requests

Guests scan your QR code and request only from songs your band has chosen. No paper slips, shouted requests, or guessing what the band knows.

$0

Free or Paid Requests

Run free requests when audience participation is the goal, or set a request price when you want requests to generate revenue. The band controls the setting for each performance.

Priority Requests

During paid-request performances, fans can voluntarily add more to move their song higher in the queue. Priority is visible so the audience understands why a request moved up.

Tip the Band

Fans can tip independently of a song request. SongOnCue takes no percentage of tips; applicable payment-processing fees may still apply.

Audience Queue

Guests can see what is currently on cue, which requests have been accepted, and recently played songs. That creates transparency and keeps the audience engaged.

Manage Everything From a Phone

Band members can see incoming requests in real time, accept or decline them, manage the queue, and clear songs from a mobile-friendly live dashboard.

FAQ

Questions bands often ask

Do fans need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the band's QR code and use SongOnCue from their phone's web browser.
Can song requests be free?
Yes. Bands can run a performance with free song requests when the goal is simply audience participation.
Can we charge for song requests?
Yes. For paid-request performances, the band sets the request price for the session. Guests see the price before submitting the request.
What is a priority request?
During paid-request performances, a fan can voluntarily add more than the request price. The additional priority amount can move the request higher in the queue. The band still decides what actually gets played.
Can fans tip without requesting a song?
Yes. Tipping is separate from song requests, so a guest can support the band without choosing a song.
Can the audience see the queue?
Yes. Guests can see what's on cue and recently played. This helps make the request experience more transparent.
Can more than one band member manage requests?
Yes. Multiple authorized band members can use their phones to help manage the live performance and incoming requests.
Do we have to rebuild our QR code for every performance?
No. Your SongOnCue QR code can remain the band's consistent audience link across performances.
